Imagine working in your own private island with breath-taking view of the ocean, an on call butler service and activities such as yoga, and meditation sessions for some post-work stress release. This is the “Workation Package”, a luxurious offering by The Nautilus Maldives. For around $23,000, you can spend a week in one of their 26 beach and ocean houses in the Baa atoll UNESCO biosphere reserve with all the benefits mentioned above and more.
The luxurious package also includes non-stop refreshments, complimentary laundry service, and private sunset dolphin cruise on board a luxury yacht. The Maldives is comprised of 1192 islands that stretch along a length of 871 kilometres. Whilst we know of these islands as a popular tropical destination with its pristine waters, colourful coral reefs and sugar fine sand, Maldives is also home to about five percent of the planet’s reef making it a perfect habitat for thousands of fish species including manta rays and whale sharks. The Maldives has also one of the most delicate environments anywhere on the planet so please be mindful on your next visit. Always make sure that nature is respected and cared for every step of your holiday way.
We at VM, we are proud to be nature’s ally and we would love to see places like Maldives thrive with its environment and natural resources for more generations to come. Our creations are made using ECONYL®, a techno-fibre made 100% from regenerated nylon sourced from discarded fishnets, industrial plastic and other nylon waste types recovered from landfills and oceans all over the world. For every 10,000 tons we use of Econyl® raw material, we are able to avoid 65,100 tonnes of Co2 emissions and save 70,000 barrels of crude oil. We also make sure that no fabric goes to waste. If a piece of clothing is not needed, we don’t produce them. This ensures that no warehouse is full of unsold clothes. At VM, we are not just committed to excellence in our products but we also make sure that they are sustainable and Earth-friendly so you can wear them proudly and guilt free!
